Camargo’s Summer Tennis Camp will be overseen by Tennis Director, Chris Thatcher.
The Junior Program Director will be directing the Summer Tennis Camp. The Camargo Tennis Pro Staff will be assisting.

Tennis Tots Camp

Ages 4 – 7
Monday – Friday 1:00-3:00

This camp is designed for ages 4-7. Tennis Tots is played on smaller courts, sized to ensure a successful experience for your child. Tennis Tots incorporates the USTA red and foam ball program with smaller nets and courts. These balls are specially designed for young players. We offer plenty of tennis drills and activities with a primary focus on large and small motor skills, hand-eye coordination, grips and stroke production. Constant fun movement is the goal at this level!

Junior Tennis camp

Ages 7 – 17
Monday – Friday 1:00-4:00

Developing Players

Designed to challenge tennis players of all levels, ages 7 and up. From the fundamentals of the game to the advanced strategies and strokes. Each camper is guaranteed progress and development, all in a fun stimulating environment. Every day, campers will enhance their strokes and strategies through skill-building drills, organized play and individual attention. Special consideration will be given to each child’s skill level. Each child will be placed with an appropriate group of players with similar abilities. All levels are included from beginner to the developing young tournament player.

Players

The PLAYERS camp will help your teenager to improve his or her game technically and strategically. Kids will be taught proper form and grips for all strokes.  We will also work on point play and strategy with regards to singles and doubles. USTA tournament play will be encouraged for kids to get the match play experience needed to prepare for high school tennis and tournament play.
